104 Flushing and cleaning speciﬁcations for engine coolant circuits

Flushing

After draining the coolant/system cleaner mixture, the coolant circuit must be ﬂushed with fresh

water as long as visible contamination can be detected and until the ﬂush water has the ph-value

of the fresh water (maximum deviation of the ph-values: <1).

Reﬁll

Before reﬁlling with coolant, ensure the cooling system is free of contaminants.
